Mica Okuno 1965

My continuing theme is infinite space, in and around glass.
I believe the infinite space has got infinite stories. I translate my emotions into my work. The existence of my work allows me to start communicating with the outside world and to deeply communicate with myself.
I desire to have conversations with others and me through my work without talking.

Het thema waarrond ik steeds weer werk, is de oneindige ruimte in en rond glas.
Ik denk dat de oneindige ruimte oneindig veel verhalen kan vertellen.
Ik leg mijn gevoelens in mijn werk. Het bestaan van dat werk geeft me de gelegenheid om te communiceren met de buitenwereld en op een dieper niveau te communiceren met mezelf. Ik verlang naar gesprekken met anderen en mezelf, zonder woorden, doorheen mijn werk.
